Colporteur Retreat is a lot of fun, but it's also a LOT of work! Kristina worked HARD in the kitchen getting all the food made for the weekend!

For our retreat, we went to Niagra Falls and rode "The Maid of the Mist" ferry boat right to the foot of the falls!

Rochester Leaders: Kristina, Paul, David, Robert, and Tralina
Kristina with some of her faithful student helpers
On the ferry boat, all decked in ponchos and ready for the ride!
Talk about getting drenched! It was a real rainshower down there!

Next we climbed up the steps right next to the American side of the falls. David and Luke faithfully helped Kristina up and down ALL those stairs! Then a group picture on a slippery rock and to a picnic site for lunch!

David got a CA! After Niagra Falls we drove to a church and set up camp in their beautiful woods.

Getting ready for Breakfast
Morning worship together outdoors
Girl time! (with Cuddles)
Fun times with friends... and even a CA demonstration to Andrew's brother, Daniel, who came to visit during the retreat!
For Sabbath we had a nature Sabbath together at the pastor's home. His big backyard provided lots of nature objects to find lessons from (and even write poems about!)
Music was fun too, since others had brought their instruments
Don't blow too hard, Esther!
Retreat ended, and everyone escaped, leaving Paul, Robert, Kristina, Toni, and Elisabeth to clean up the whole mess and pack everything up!
Back at the Review and Herald to return the vans and books, settle accounts, and say our last goodbyes... It was truly a wonderful summer!!
